The Argyll Hotel is located within 5 minutes of the ferry pier with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining enjoying amazing views over the sound of Iona.
We open to non-residents from 10am-12am for refreshments and home-baking. We offer our lunch menu between 12 and 2pm featuring house meat and vegan burgers, local mussels, soup and sandwiches and daily specials like dressed crab and scotch eggs. A perfect stop on arrival or after exploring Iona!
Served from 3pm our baker creates organic homebaking, including a ‘Montezumas’ gluten free dark chocolate brownie, buttery shortbread and the ‘famous’ Argyll Hotel scone with cream and jam.
Our whole food ethos is one of local, seasonal and organic where possible, supporting local food businesses including Iona Seafood, local crofters, Tobermory fish company, Isle of Mull Cheese Co, Isle of Mull and Iona lamb and beef producers which feature in our evening menu from 6-8pm. Booking for dinner is essential!
During the season our organic vegetable garden stars both at lunch with salads and herbs but mostly in our evening a la carte menu all handcrafted by our kitchen team with love and attention to detail.
